Job summary

Accenture in India seeks a Data Managed Services Presales Solution Architect to lead end-to-end solution blueprint and roadmap, bridging client vision with technology execution across global delivery and sales teams.

You will translate business problems into technology solutions, design data & AI applications, and prepare compelling proposals, SOWs, and contracts for client engagement and delivery transition.

Qualifications

• Strong Data engineering or BI or AI/Gen AI experience in application maintenance projects.
• Working knowledge of cloud ecosystems – Azure or AWS, or Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

As a Data Managed Services Presales Solution Architect, you will lead the end-to-end solution blueprint and roadmap, acting as the bridge between client vision and technology execution. You will be instrumental in translating business problems into technology solutions and having stakeholder alignment throughout the deal lifecycle. In this role, you’ll gain experience in designing Data & AI application maintenance and support solutions, working across global delivery and sales teams. You will work cross clouds, cross industry cross geography giving depth and breadth of exposure. You’ll also deepen your expertise in emerging technologies like Databricks, Snowflake, Gen AI, Agents —preparing you for the future.

The Work

• Understand RFP/RFIs and translate the business needs into technical architecture (data engineering, data visualization, AI, Gen AI).
• Understand end-to-end application architectures diagrams (data ingestion to data consumption to AI/ML).
• Map technology components (e.g. Informatica, Power BI, PySpark, Azure ML, Azure Foundry, GCP BigQuery, AWS Glue, Snowflake, Databricks etc.) with business use cases.
• Prepare detailed ADM effort estimates for application maintenance and enhancements and get them validated with AI & Data capability SMEs.
• Design optimal staffing models based on onshore/offshore/nearshore mix and pyramid structure.
• Build solution plan power point decks for use in sales and delivery alignment.
• Engage in solution and delivery reviews with leadership across geographies.
• Act as the strategic link between sales and delivery teams.
• Contribute to client‑facing proposals, SOWs, and contracting documents.
• Present and defend your solution in internal and external forums.
• Seamlessly transition the solution to the delivery team post‑deal closure.

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 10% to 25% depending on business need and client requirements.

Here’s What You Need

• Must Have: Strong Data engineering or Business intelligence or AI/Gen AI experience in application maintenance projects
• Working knowledge of cloud ecosystems – Azure or AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, filters, vlookup etc.).
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working in cross-functional and global environments.
• Experience: Minimum 12 years of relevant IT industry experience in AI & Data delivery or Presales
• Location: Any city having Accenture office.
• Education: 15 years of full‑time education required.
