Who Can Apply

Candidates must satisfy the following qualification, experience, and registration criteria to apply for the post:

• Essential Qualification: B.Sc (Nursing); OR Certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery and 'A' Grade certificate in Nursing from a recognized institution, along with a Post certificate diploma in nursing administration/sister tutor's course.
• Experience: Five-year experience as nursing sister/Theatre Sister.
• Registration: Candidates applying for the post of ANS should be registered with Delhi Nursing Council (DNC) or any other nursing council. After selection, registration with DNC mentioning their essential qualification for the selected post is mandatory.
• Age Limit: Age limit is 55 years. Age relaxations apply to SC/ST/OBC/Departmental Candidates/ExSM/PWh etc. in accordance with the instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India/DoPT/Govt of NCT of Delhi from time to time. Candidates seeking benefits of age relaxation under SC/ST/OBC/PwD categories must produce the relevant certificates issued on or before the last date of application filling, and OBC candidates must provide a non-creamy layer certificate issued within six months prior by the competent authority of Govt. of NCT of Delhi.

The selected candidate receives a consolidated pay scale of Rs. 15,600-39,100 with Grade Pay Rs. 5,400 (Level 10 of the 7th CPC).
