Job summary

CIEL HR is seeking a technically adept RF/Aerospace engineer to design UAV datalink systems and develop jamming countermeasures. The role emphasizes RF design, radar concepts, and data link/telemetry expertise within aerospace-grade standards. Proficiency with ADS/HFSS/CST and MATLAB is required, along with SDR and FPGA RF work.

The position targets candidates with strong system-level analysis skills, link budgets, and antenna placement considerations for UAV communications, based in India.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in RF design and EMC as core requirements.
• Hands-on radar system design and phased arrays experience.
• Experience with UAV data links and telemetry systems.
• Familiarity with MIL-STD and DO-254/DO-178 aerospace standards.

Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities

• 1. Design and develop datalink system requirements for UAV communication links.
• 3. Implement Jamming and anti- jamming techniques.
• 4. Perform system-level analysis, link budget calculations, power budget, antenna placement and isolation analysis and RF propagation modelling for UAV communication systems.
• 1. Strong expertise in RF design,impedance matching, transmission lines, and electromagnetic compatibility.
• 2. Hands-on experience with radar system design, phased arrays, and RF front-end modules.
• 3. Hands on experience in Data link and telemetry system.
• 4. Proficiency in simulation tools (ADS, HFSS, CST, MATLAB) andRF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators).
• 9. Experience withsoftware-defined radios (SDR)and FPGA-based RF implementations.
• 10. Exposure to MIL-STD and DO-254/DO-178 standards for aerospace systems
