Job summary

IoTechWorld Avigation Pvt Ltd in Gurgaon invites an RF/Datalink Engineer to join and contribute to UAV communication systems. You will integrate datalinks with flight controllers and GCS, and develop Python/C++ on embedded Linux for radio configuration and telemetry routing.

The role requires SDR experience, GNURadio familiarity, and hands-on RF test capability. Travel for field trials is expected.

Qualifications

• B.Tech/M.Tech in ECE or related field with 4-8 years of RF integration experience.
• Strong Python and C/C++ on Linux.
• Practical SDR experience (GNU Radio or equivalent).
• Solid networking fundamentals and video streaming experience.
• Hands-on use of spectrum analysers and RF test equipment; ability to calculate link budgets.
• Willing to travel for field trials.

Responsibilities

• Develop Python and C/C++ software on embedded Linux for radio configuration, link monitoring, telemetry routing and test automation.
• Set up and tune video and control transport over the link (TCP/UDP, IP routing, mesh configuration, video streaming pipelines).
• Integrate datalinks with the MAVLink/ArduPilot stack, including link-loss failsafes.
• Plan and run range, throughput, interference and anti-jam trials in the field, and document results.
• Support frequency planning, antenna selection and placement on airframes.
• Work with the internal SDR development team during integration and testing of the in-house datalink.

Requirements
