GlobalFoundries is seeking a PrRF Application Engineer - Design in Bengaluru, India. The successful candidate will have a strong background in RF and millimetre wave designs with a minimum of 5 years of experience. Responsibilities include providing technical support and presenting training to customers on Design Enablement tools. Qualifications

Introduction

RF Application Engineering team is responsible for providing direct technical support on the Design Enablement tools and Technologies to the customers who are engaged in designing RF and millimetre wave integrated circuits (RFIC’s) in GLOBALFOUNDRIES' state-of-the-art RF SiGe and RFSOI technologies use.

Your Job will need

• Design experience with RF/mmWave designs like LNA, PA, Switches etc.
• Experience with industry standard RFIC simulation tools (Keysight ADS, Spectre/RF, Momentum, EMX etc.), design checking and parasitic extraction tools such as Cadence, Mentor and Synopsys DRC, LVS and PEX, and/or silicon technology process development is required
• To be responsible to drive client requests and insights (voice of customer) into internal Design Enablement and Technology development teams, resulting in increased competitiveness of GF’s Design Enablement and Technologies in the marketplace, and higher client satisfaction.
• To be able to debug any reported bugs in the Design Kit and document clearly to the development team, and work with Design Kit development teams to implement fixes and enhancements
• To present Design Kit and Technology trainings to customers

Required Qualifications

• Education - B.S., M.S. in E.E, PhD ( Electronics, RF, RFGaN)
• Experience – Minimum of 5+ years’ experience
• Travel 10% (flexible)
• Fluency in the English Language – Written & verbal – Required
• Strong fundamental knowledge with active and passive device FOM like ft, fmax, gm, nfmin, Q, SRF etc
• RF, mmWave or Analog Integrated Circuit Design experience
• Debugging skills, good documentation and effective communications skills is a must

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to any semiconductor foundry PDKs specially on the RF technologies is an added advantage for this role
• Program management skills would be benefical
