Job summary

Padink requires a Civil/Structural professional skilled in Autodesk REVIT and AutoCAD to model concrete industrial structures and generate GA/drawing outputs. The role involves handling 3D scanning, NavisWorks, and Civil 3D tools, with a focus on clash resolution and project coordination.

The candidate will create detailed 3D models, extract 2D drawings, and prepare reinforcement schedules for plants and related facilities, collaborating across disciplines and maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 3–15 years of experience.
• Proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD.
• Experience with 3D scan, NavisWorks, Civil 3D is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Indian and foreign standards.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models of concrete super-structures and foundations using REVIT Structures and extraction of 2D drawings.
• Generate AutoCAD 2D GA drawings, reinforcement drawings, and bar bending schedules from the 3D model.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other disciplines to ensure model accuracy and resolve clashes.
• Review models and drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards.
• Maintain organized records of models, drawings, and revisions.
• Provide technical assistance to team members and clients as needed.
• Communicate with other departments to assemble complete inputs for assigned jobs.

Job description

Proficiency in Autodesk REVIT and AutoCAD with strong understanding of reinforced cement concrete industrial structures – general arrangement and detailing.

• Create detailed 3D models of concrete super‑structures and foundations using REVIT Structures and extraction of 2D drawings.
• Experience in handling 3D scan, NavisWorks, Civil 3D (added advantage).
• Generate AutoCAD 2D GA drawings, reinforcement drawings, bar bending schedule (as per various standards) and material list from the 3D model for ferrous and nonferrous plant, mining and beneficiation plant.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, other disciplines and stakeholders to ensure model accuracy and identify and resolve clashes or inconsistencies in the model.
• Review and check models and drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards and specifications.
• Maintain organized records of models, drawings, and revisions.
• Provide technical assistance to other team members and clients as needed.
• Knowledge in working with Indian and foreign standards.
• Communicate with other departments to arrive at the complete input for an assigned job.
