Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Revenue Analytics Analyst based in India.

As a Revenue Analytics Analyst, you will take ownership of the definitions, governance, and quality of the core business metrics that guide strategic decision‑making at the executive and board levels. You will establish a reliable single source of truth for key performance indicators, including Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), Annual Contract Value (ACV), Net Dollar Retention (NDR), Gross Dollar Retention (GDR), and customer counts. Working at the intersection of Finance, Go-to-Market (GTM), Product, and Engineering, you will resolve inconsistencies across data systems and ensure reporting remains accurate and consistent. You will develop scalable governance standards, strengthen data quality controls, and improve transparency across the organization. By collaborating with data engineering and business intelligence teams, you will help automate reporting processes and reduce reliance on manual reconciliation. This fully remote opportunity is ideal for an analytical professional who combines strong SQL expertise with business acumen and a passion for building trusted, data‑driven decision‑making frameworks.

Accountabilities
  • Metrics definition and governance: Define, document, and certify company-wide business metrics, including ARR, ACV, NDR, GDR, customer count, and employee count, ensuring each metric has a consistent, clearly governed definition.
  • Executive-level reporting: Own the certification of metrics used in company-wide and executive reporting, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reporting cycles and business reviews.
  • Data quality and reconciliation: Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies across source systems, including Salesforce, NetSuite, customer success platforms, and product data, to maintain the integrity of governed metrics.
  • Governance standards: Establish and maintain data quality controls, data lineage documentation, metric ownership frameworks, and governance processes that can scale with organizational growth.
  • Reporting automation: Partner with business intelligence, data products, AI, and data engineering teams to develop an automation roadmap that reduces manual reconciliation and enables reliable, self‑service reporting.
  • Cross‑functional alignment: Serve as the primary point of contact for Finance, Go-to-Market, General and Administrative (G&A), Product, and Engineering stakeholders on company-wide metric definitions, reporting questions, and changes to measurement standards.
  • Metric consistency and standardization: Identify and close gaps between departmental reporting practices, ensuring teams use consistent definitions for shared business performance indicators.
  • Continuous improvement: Evaluate existing reporting processes, identify opportunities to improve data reliability and accessibility, and implement scalable solutions that strengthen confidence in business performance insights.
  • Clear ownership boundaries: Maintain centralized ownership of company-wide metrics while enabling functional teams to retain responsibility for their own operational analytics and specialized reporting needs.
Requirements
  • At least two years of relevant professional experience in revenue analytics, business intelligence, data analytics, financial analytics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience defining, managing, or governing company-wide business metrics within a B2B Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) environment.
  • Strong understanding of subscription business metrics, including ARR, ACV, NDR, GDR, customer counts, and related revenue performance indicators.
  • Advanced practical SQL skills, with the ability to query, analyze, reconcile, and validate complex datasets across multiple business systems.
  • Experience working with data from CRM, finance, customer success, and product platforms, ideally including Salesforce and NetSuite.
  • Strong understanding of data quality management, metric standardization, reporting governance, data lineage, and source‑of‑truth management.
  • Ability to investigate data discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions that improve reporting accuracy and consistency.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools, data products, data engineering workflows, and reporting automation initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data issues into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, including the confidence to align cross‑functional teams on metric definitions and governance standards.
  • A detail‑oriented, structured, and proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a remote environment.
  • A strong sense of ownership and accountability for the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of business‑critical data.
Benefits
  • Competitive compensation: Annual salary ranging from INR 15,00,000 to INR 25,00,000 (₹15–25 LPA), depending on experience and suitability.
  • Fully remote work: Work remotely from India, offering flexibility without the need for a daily office commute.
  • Strategic business impact: Influence executive‑level decision‑making by ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the company's most important performance metrics.
  • Cross‑functional collaboration: Work closely with Finance, GTM, Product, Engineering, and data specialists across the organization.
  • Professional development: Strengthen your expertise in revenue analytics, data governance, subscription business metrics, and enterprise reporting.
  • Data and automation focus: Contribute to initiatives that modernize reporting, improve data quality, and enable scalable, self‑service analytics.
  • Ownership and autonomy: Take responsibility for establishing trusted metric definitions and governance standards across the business.
  • Full‑time opportunity: Build your career in a role that combines technical analytics expertise with strategic business partnership.
