Job summary

The Search AI Company in Bengaluru, India is seeking a Revenue Analyst to support growth through revenue accounting insights. Based in India, you will collaborate with Operations and Finance to ensure accurate revenue recognition and strengthen internal controls.

You will review customer contracts for ASC 606 impact, assist monthly closes, and contribute to SOX compliance while leveraging RevPro, NetSuite, Salesforce, and G-suite to drive automation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience, CA/CPA preferred.
• 2+ years of revenue experience with ASC 606 knowledge, preferably in software/SaaS.
• Experience with RevPro, NetSuite and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Review customer contracts to evaluate ASC 606 impact and non-standard transactions.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities.
• Partner with Operations and Finance across functions.

What You Will Be Doing

• Perform reviews of customer contracts to evaluate the impact of complex or non-standard transactions and assess implications of ASC 606.
• Support multiple operational accounting activities within monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including Operations and Finance.
• Contribute to the integrity of our financial systems by maintaining and enhancing internal control documentation and supporting SOX compliance.
• Contribute to automation initiatives to streamline Revenue deliverables and reporting, facilitating efficiency and accuracy.
• Help prepare data and other support information requests as needed for audits and reviews conducted by external auditors.

What You Bring

• Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent applicable experience (CA/CPA preferred).
• Big 4 experience is a plus.
• 2+ years of overall experience in revenue with a knowledge of ASC 606, preferably within software industry.
• Experience with financial systems such as RevPro, NetSuite and CRM tools, particularly Salesforce.
• Proficiency in G-suite and AI tools is highly desired.
• Foundational knowledge of the 5-step revenue recognition model, preferably within the software/SaaS industry.
• Experience in a dynamic, high-growth, global company and are comfortable collaborating across functions.
