Position Summary
The Senior Training Manager will design, deliver, and analyse impactful training initiatives across retail (Titan, Tata Group, ABFRL, Arvind Brands, Hyatt, Marriott, Taj, etc.), with a primary focus on elevating leadership skills, employee engagement, and operational excellence. The role requires outstanding public speaking, analytical skills, and innovative content development for modern learning platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic training programs tailored for Brand, Product and services, from line employees to store managers, to ensure Mystery Audit scores reflect these implementations.
- Facilitate engaging classroom, online, and blended learning sessions with a strong public speaking presence for our Retail Store employees.
- Analyse training metrics and compile dashboards and reports for business reviews and senior stakeholders.
- Create bite-sized, interactive learning content (quizzes, polls, surveys) using tools such as Mentimeter, Kahoot, Trivia Maker.
- Collaborate with HR and business leaders to identify skill gaps and optimize training delivery.
- Continuously improve training programs based on learner feedback and industry trends.
- Ensure completion of mandatory onboarding (Line-Release) modules for Brand’s retail store teams.
- Participate in Brand engagement events such as Store Launch events, Brand Days (Seasonally) for better collaboration with Retail Teams.
- Provide feedback to operations teams on VM, Marketing, Product from various store visits.
Required Skills and Experience
- 3-4 years in training roles within corporate, retail, or hospitality environments.
- Exceptional oratory and public speaking skills, with experience engaging diverse teams.
- Advanced analytical skills in training reporting, dashboard construction, and performance metrics.
- Proficiency with digital learning platforms and interactive content tools for quizzes, polls, and microlearning.
- Bachelor’s / Business, Education, or a related discipline.
- Sector experience preferred in leading retail/hotel organizations (Titan, Tata Group, ABFRL, Arvind Brands, Hyatt, Marriott, Taj).
