Job summary

SERVPRO of Vacaville / Dixon is hiring for an on-site restoration role focused on quickly responding to emergencies and performing hands-on recovery tasks. You will work with a supportive team to restore homes and businesses after water, fire, or mold events.

Training is provided, with opportunities for career progression and a strong benefits package. Applicants should have restoration or related trades experience and be prepared for on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in restoration, construction, or related trades preferred.
• Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to varying tasks.
• Willingness to work occasional on-call shifts (evenings, weekends, holidays).

Responsibilities

• Respond quickly to emergency situations (water, fire, mold, etc.).
• Perform hands-on restoration work, including water extraction, demolition, and set up of drying or specialty equipment
• Load, inventory, and maintain vehicles, tools, and materials for each job
• Communicate clearly with team members and customers — providing updates and reassurance during difficult times
• Follow safety procedures and maintain job site organization
• Deliver top-quality work and take pride in getting the job done right

If this sounds like you —

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Willingness to work occasional on-call shifts (evenings, weekends, holidays)
• Previous experience in restoration, construction, or related trades preferred
• IICRC certification a plus (training opportunities available!)

Physical Demands & Competencies

• Lift 50+ lbs regularly, occasionally up to 100 lbs (with help)
• Comfortable working on ladders, at heights, or in tight spaces (attics, crawl spaces)
• Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry heavy materials repeatedly
• Comfortable working with and around cleaning agents and restoration materials
