Industry Preference: Travel / Hospitality / Holiday Rentals / Tourism
About Hostie
Hostie Holiday Homes is a boutique hospitality company offering curated holiday homes, villas, farm stays, retreats and serviced apartments across key leisure and urban destinations.
We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Senior Executive – Sales & Reservations who can take ownership of our sales pipeline and convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
This is a sales-driven role for someone who enjoys speaking with customers, understanding their requirements, presenting the right property, handling objections, following up and closing business.
About the Role
As a Senior Executive – Sales & Reservations, you will manage the complete sales journey — from receiving an enquiry to converting it into a confirmed booking.
You will work with families, groups, corporate clients and leisure travellers and help them select the right Hostie property based on their requirements, budget, occasion and travel plans.
The ideal candidate will have strong selling and conversion experience, preferably within travel agencies, hospitality, holiday rentals or tourism.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound enquiries through phone, WhatsApp, website, social media and booking platforms.
- Understand customer requirements including destination, dates, group size, budget, occasion and preferences.
- Recommend the most suitable Hostie property or experience based on the customer's needs.
- Prepare and present quotations in a clear and compelling manner.
- Follow up consistently with prospective customers and move enquiries through the sales funnel.
- Handle customer objections, pricing discussions and negotiations confidently.
- Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings and achieve assigned monthly sales targets.
- Identify opportunities for upselling premium properties, longer stays, experiences and additional services.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and ensure no high-potential enquiry is missed.
Reservations & Customer Management
- Manage availability checks, booking confirmations, payment follow-ups and reservation details.
- Ensure all guest requirements and booking commitments are accurately recorded.
- Coordinate with the operations team for a seamless handover after booking confirmation.
- Maintain strong relationships with guests to encourage repeat bookings and referrals.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, follow-ups, conversions and lost leads.
- Track reasons for lost enquiries and identify opportunities to improve conversion.
- Share customer feedback, pricing objections, competitor activity and market insights with management.
- Contribute ideas to improve sales processes, conversion rates and revenue.
