Job summary

Piramal Pharma Ltd in Rabale R&D is seeking a Research Scientist- Analytical R&D for Piramal Critical Care (PCC-PD&T). You will lead analytical method development, validation, and transfer for injectable and ophthalmic products, ensuring data quality and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with Formulation, QA, RA and external labs, perform stability studies, and maintain instruments and documentation according to cGMP.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Analytical R&D in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Hands-on experience in analytical method development, validation, method transfer, and stability studies.
• Exposure to injectable and/or ophthalmic products is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical method development, validation, verification, and transfer activities.
• Execute stability studies and routine analytical testing for development projects.
• Prepare analytical protocols, reports, specifications, and related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, data integrity, and regulatory requirements.

Essential Qualification

M.Sc /M. Pharm or equivalent

Relevant Experience

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Analytical R&D within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Hands-on experience in analytical method development, validation, method transfer, and stability studies.
• Exposure to injectable and/or ophthalmic products preferred.
• Experience in handling analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV, dissolution, and related software.
• Exposure to regulatory documentation and cGMP practices.
