Piramal Critical Care in Rabale R&D is seeking a Research Scientist for Analytical R&D. You will lead method development, validation, transfer and stability studies, ensuring data quality and regulatory compliance across injectable and ophthalmic projects.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and maintain laboratory records in a cGMP environment. Prior instrument experience with HPLC, GC, UV and dissolution is preferred.

Qualifications

• M.Sc /M. Pharm or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of experience in Analytical R&D.
• Experience with analytical method development, validation, method transfer, and stability studies.
• Exposure to injectable and/or ophthalmic products preferred.
• Experience with instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV, dissolution and related software.

Responsabilités

• Perform analytical method development, validation, verification, and transfer activities.
• Execute stability studies and routine analytical testing for development projects.
• Prepare analytical protocols, reports, specifications, STPs, and related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, data integrity, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain analytical instruments, laboratory records, and compliance readiness.

Job Description

To perform Analytical R&D activities for injectable and ophthalmic products across various stages of product development including analytical method development, validation, transfer, and stability studies.

The role supports product development and regulatory activities by generating reliable analytical data in compliance with cGMP and regulatory requirements.

The incumbent will work closely with cross-functional teams and external laboratories to ensure timely execution of analytical deliverables.

Essential Qualification

M.Sc /M. Pharm or equivalent

Relevant Experience

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Analytical R&D within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Hands‑on experience in analytical method development, validation, method transfer, and stability studies.
• Exposure to injectable and/or ophthalmic products preferred.
• Experience in handling analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV, dissolution, and related software.
• Exposure to regulatory documentation and cGMP practices.
