Role & responsibilities

• Providing strategic leadership and overall coordination for research development in the departments and acquisition of patents, Industrial Consultancy and funding for the departments / professors / students.
• To prepare proposals for various funding agencies like UGC, AICTE, DST, DBT etc.
• Fostering collaborations and mentoring support for research amongst academic teaching staff and motivate faculty to write projects.
• Other activities that promote the university and the field of Research and Development.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Doctorate (Ph.D.) degree in Biotechnology with 15 to 25 years of similar experience in in any university or engineering college of repute or research institution.

2. Candidates having proven record of getting R & D funding shall only apply

3. There shall be no age bar, but physical and mental fitness is essential to motivate and guide our researchers for productive R & D project.

4. Candidates can stay either in University Campus or anywhere in the world.

Salary

Salary, benefits and incentives shall be attractive and flexible, linked to achievements. Besides Salary full time Professors shall be given free family accommodation. Visiting professors are entitled for remuneration, hospitality, transport etc.
