Job summary

JK Lakshmipat University (JKLU) Jaipur invites applications for a Research Assistant to work on an ICSSR-funded project titled Pathways to Social Inclusion in Vikshit India: Livelihoods, Aspirations, Digital Citizenship, and Identity Across Marginalized Rural and Peri-Urban Communities. The position is temporary and available immediately. The appointment is for 20 months with a monthly remuneration of Rs.

37,000. Candidates must be postgraduate in social science with NET/M.Phil./Ph.D.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate in Social Science discipline (55% minimum) with NET/M.Phil./Ph.D.
• Strong research and analytical ability
• Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative tools of analysis
• Good communication and writing skills

Applications are invited for the position of one Research Assistant to work in the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), Delhi-sponsored research project no. 165/2025- 26/ICSSR/RP/MJ dated 15/03/2026 titled Pathways to Social Inclusion in Vikshit India: Livelihoods, Aspirations, Digital Citizenship, and Identity Across Marginalized Rural and PeriUrban Communities at JK Lakshmipat University, Jaipur, Rajasthan.

The position is purely temporary and is available immediately.

Research Team:

Project Director : Prof Sheetal Mundra

Research Assistant (RA): Postgraduate in Social Science discipline (55% minimum) with NET/M.Phil./Ph.D.

Fellowship/Remuneration:

As per recommendation of ICSSR (Rs. 37,000/- per month).
