International Relations and Languages seeks a highly motivated Research Assistant/Associate to support ongoing research projects in Finance & Accounting. Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant or MBA (Finance) or Masters in Quantitative/Computational Finance from a reputed Institute.
• Proficiency in Excel and any statistical package is expected.
• Knowledge of programming language Python or R is preferred.
• The candidate must have high standards in terms of quality of work, attention to detail, ability to multi-task and absolute commitment to task completion.

Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant/Associate to support ongoing research projects in area of Finance & Accounting.

The selected candidate will help faculty member in Research work for publications, Journals and other outlets (e.g. books). The RA will also assist in developing case studies. This position also prepares the candidate for admission to doctoral or equivalent programs at prestigious business schools worldwide, ultimately leading to careers in finance research at top-tier business schools or research organizations.

Tenure

The initial appointment is for One Year, with the possibility of an extension up to two years, subject to performance appraisal.

Prof. Ashok Banerjee (Finance & Accounting Area), IIM Udaipur.

Location

Office space will be provided on the IIM Udaipur campus (for optimal convenience, candidates should be located near IIM Udaipur Campus). No accommodation facilities will be provided by IIMU.
