Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy in Delhi seeks a proactive Prepress Operations Lead to identify and drive improvements in prepress workflow and automation to support faster, error‑free output.

You will coordinate with production schedules, ensure on‑time delivery, monitor artwork readiness, and maintain open communication with managers and customers. You’ll oversee repro equipment, update software, and manage consumables to support efficient printing.

Job description

Identify and lead the development and implementation of Prepress workflow process improvements and automation.

Responsible for devising a tracking system of daily work orders in correlation with the production schedule and on-time delivery to the customers.

Maintain consistent communications of project details and scheduled job status with other managers and customer service.

Communicate with customers regarding any problems, questions, or concerns if required.

Record problems, such as downtime, and the actions taken.

Monitor and ensure that the artwork for printing is prepared as per the customer's needs.

To assist customers with all aspects of their printing requirements.

Oversee the maintenance of machines in the repro department.

Update the software required in the repro department with approval from the management.

In charge of ordering consumables (Plates, chemicals, Screens, papers, toners, cartridges) and checking before using them for quality output.

Assist in the continuous improvement of customer supply chains to the repro/design process to improve operational efficiency and customer service.

Ensure that the department's procedures are followed maintained and further developed when required.
