About the role

The Representative - Sales develops new accounts and expands Orica’s relationship with existing customers within a specified geographic territory and provides account management support and facilitates ongoing service and helps customers solve their problems within the area.

What you will be doing

Key AccountabilitiesExpands key accounts and developing new business in the sales area, with focus on service-oriented business mining, quarries, underground, and overall business in pipeline & seismicPrepares sales development plans and budgets; monitor and report results on a monthly basisSupports contract management in area, including pricing, R&F management, BRAD meetings, and contract renewalDevelops commercial strategy to create maximum value for customer and Orica through implementation of product and service initiativesUses industry, technical and operational knowledge to lead identification, development and implementation of new systems/service offerings to deliver additional customer valueWorks closely with customer to develop accurate customer demand forecasting

What you will bring

BAND F PEOPLE LEADER

  • Minimum 7 years experience post qualification.
  • Experience leading a team, including building a collaborative approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic and commercial acumen supported by sound commercial judgement.
  • Ability to plan, influence & execute.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to present strategic logic and recommended pathways, coupled with the ability to present to key stakeholders.

BAND F TECHNICAL SPECIALIST

  • Minimum 3 to 6 years experience post qualification.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic and commercial acumen supported by sound commercial judgement.
  • Ability to plan, influence & execute.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to present strategic logic and recommended pathways, coupled with the ability to present to key stakeholders.

Role dependent - technical &/or functional business system applications required for tasks (e.g. SAP, SF, Concur, analytics/visualisation tools, engineering software, etc.)
