Ruvimo is seeking passionate Physics & Chemistry tutors for higher-grade students to simplify complex concepts, connect theory to the real world, and help students become confident problem-solvers. This is a 100% online role, teaching students on the US curriculum from India.

You will conduct engaging 1:1 sessions, identify learning gaps, adapt explanations, and support exam preparation while fostering curiosity and rigorous scientific thinking.

Qualifikationen

• Experience teaching middle school or high school students.
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and simply.
• Comfort with teaching the US curriculum or willingness to learn it.
• Stable internet connection and a professional home teaching setup.

• Build strong conceptual foundations before moving into advanced problem-solving.
• Break down complex scientific concepts into clear, logical and relatable explanations.
• Help students understand the "why" behind formulas, equations and scientific principles.
• Guide students through numerical problems and teach effective problem-solving strategies.
• Use diagrams, demonstrations, simulations, examples and real-world applications to make concepts easier to visualize.
• Help students interpret graphs, equations, experimental data and scientific representations.
• Support students with schoolwork, assignments, projects, assessments and exam preparation.
• Identify learning gaps and adapt your teaching approach accordingly.
• Encourage students to ask questions, form hypotheses and think scientifically.
• Provide constructive feedback and track student progress.

Who We're Looking For

• Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics, Chemistry, Science, Engineering, Education or a related field.
• Have prior experience teaching or tutoring middle school or high school students.
• Have strong conceptual knowledge of your subject.
• Can confidently solve and explain grade-appropriate numerical and conceptual problems.
• Can explain difficult scientific concepts without making them unnecessarily complicated.
• Have excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
• Are comfortable teaching students from the US curriculum or are willing to learn it.
• Can use real-world examples to make science relevant and engaging.
• Are comfortable using technology for online teaching.
• Have a stable internet connection and a professional teaching setup.
• Most importantly, enjoy working with students and helping them discover how things work.
