You will be responsible for accurately transcribing and translating legal documents from audio files or written materials, ensuring compliance with legal standards and confidentiality. Key Responsibilities

• Transcribe legal audio files (hearings, depositions, interviews) into written format with high accuracy.
• Translate legal documents between languages (e.g., English to regional or international languages and vice versa), maintaining legal terminology and tone.
• Review and proofread translated documents to ensure clarity, grammatical accuracy, and legal relevance.
• Ensure all transcribed and translated documents adhere to confidentiality and legal compliance standards.
• Coordinate with legal teams and translation editors to confirm understanding of context and ensure accuracy.
• Organize and maintain an archive of completed work and version-controlled documents.
• Meet deadlines consistently while maintaining a high level of quality and professionalism.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in English and at least one additional language used in legal contexts (e.g., Hindi, Spanish, German, Tamil, etc.).
• Strong command of legal terminology, concepts, and formatting standards.
• Excellent listening skills and typing speed for transcription tasks.
• Ability to work with transcription and translation software tools (such as Express Scribe, Trados, or SDL).
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Excellent written communication skills.

Experience
