CRISIL is seeking a dynamic and experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) to lead Agile Release Train (ART) execution across a high-impact client program. The RTE will facilitate PI Planning, coordinate ART execution, resolve dependencies, and ensure alignment to delivery objectives. This role requires strong servant leadership, stakeholder management, and agile coaching skills, particularly in large-scale enterprise or regulatory environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Servant Leader and Coach for the Agile Release Train (ART)
- Facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning, system demos, and Inspect & Adapt sessions
- Support Agile Teams, Product Management, Architecture and Client Stakeholders to deliver business value
- Identify and manage risks, impediments, and dependencies across the ART
- Collaborate with Scrum Masters and Product Owners to improve team performance and flow
- Ensure adherence to governance, quality, and compliance norms per client and CRISIL standards
- Support Lean Budgeting, Metrics Tracking and Continuous Improvement
- Communicate with client-side Program Managers, Product Managers, and other RTEs for cross-ART coordination
- Guide teams through Agile maturity and adoption of SAFe, Scrum@Scale, or hybrid agile models
Required Skills & Experience
- 12+ years in IT delivery, with 3+ years as RTE or Agile Program Manager
- Strong understanding of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) – SAFe RTE certification preferred
- Experience with Scrum, Scrum Ban, and Kanban frameworks
- Prior experience in client-facing delivery roles in BFSI, analytics, or risk management domains
- Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with Agile lifecycle tools (ADO, Jira, Rally, etc.)
- Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, and secure delivery practices is a plus
Nice to Have
- Experience with regulatory or audit-driven programs
- Understanding of Agile Governance, SDLC policies, and Enterprise Architecture alignment
- Hands-on knowledge of program metrics, dashboarding, and reporting to senior leadership
