Kotak Mahindra Bank in Gujarat seeks a Relationship Officer- SBE to support day-to-day tasks, coordinate with RMs, and ensure smooth onboarding and documentation for client credit facilities and loans.

Job Description

Role: Relationship Officer- SBE

Grade- E0

• Assisting team in day to day tasks and coordinating with RMs for activities related to business.
• Document collection from client and to ensure completion of all the documents along with signatures and stamps.
• To ensure documentation is completed with utmost accuracy and to ensure the case is cleared in first pass.
• Coordinating with the internal teams for documentation to ensure smooth processing of client transactions.
• To understand clients business & provide appropriate working capital and business loan solutions.
• Deal across secured and unsecured lending such as Fund/ non-Fund based products like Cash Credit, Demand Loan, BG etc.
• Work closely with Branch Banking teams for new customer addition.
• To ensure smooth onboarding of the client and catering to client requirements.
• Coordinate with the internal teams, RMs or clients for completion of documentation relating to renewal/ modification/ enhancement or fresh disbursement.
• To coordinate with RMs for business related activities and also help in cross sell
• Calling active clients to encourage them to take up new facilities and products.
• Addressing client’s uncertainties, grievances and suggestions on time.
• Communicating requests and acceptances of offers to our sales team for closing.
• Recording all successful and unsuccessful attempts to close sale.
• Keep up quality service by adhering to organizational guidelines.
• To be updated about the latest product offerings and offers
• To understand clients business & provide appropriate working capital solutions across Fund/ non Fund based products.
• To penetrate client with various products for the primary Relationship & Group companies.
• To build relationships with key persons in the target segments & build client trust & confidence.
• Focus to continually increase the Book size and profitability of the assigned portfolio.
• To understand client business models, trade related activities, cash flows etc. and identify opportunities and grow client relationships.
• To be alert on competitive elements in the target segments (viz. other banks etc.) & Augment the presence and penetration of the Kotak brand in the target market
• Maintain high caliber client service.
• Improve efficiency by monitoring & overseeing continuous improvement of processes
• Constantly have a rapport with the operating units to customize and develop solutions
