Purpose of the Role
To achieve monthly sales targets by sourcing and converting leads into secured loan disbursements.
The role involves lead generation, customer relationship management, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory policies.
Accountabilities (Key Results Area)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Sales Target Achievement:
- Meet or exceed the monthly sales targets in terms of Value and number of files.
- Identify and approach potential customers for secured loans.
- Lead Generation and Development:
- Generate leads through door-to-door campaigns, local marketing activities, and customer referrals.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools.
- Customer Engagement:
- Explain loan products, terms, and benefits to prospective customers.
- Address customer concerns, handle objections, and provide customized loan solutions.
- Ensure high-quality customer service throughout the sales cycle.
- Loan Documentation and Processing:
- Assist customers in completing loan applications and collecting required KYC documents.
- Conduct preliminary checks to ensure document authenticity and completeness.
- Collections and Customer Retention:
- Educate customers about repayment schedules and terms.
- Follow up with overdue customers to ensure timely repayments & also educate them.
- Maintain positive relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Compliance and Ethics:
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements (KYC, AML) and company policies.
- Ensure ethical selling practices to protect the company’s reputation.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Knowledge:
- Understanding of secured lending products and the loan lifecycle.
- Familiarity with local demographics and customer behaviours.
- Basic knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., KYC, AML).
Skills:
- Sales Skills:
- Effective pitching, rapport building, and objection handling.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Empathy, active listening, and conflict resolution.
- Analytical Skills:
- Assessing customer creditworthiness and identifying target customer profiles.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Experience using CRM software and digital tools for lead management.
Experience:
- 0-2 years of experience in sales, preferably in NBFCs, microfinance, or secured lending roles.
- Fresh graduates with strong local market knowledge will also be considered.
Job Dimensions
- Financial Scope: Achieving 15,00,000 monthly disbursement target.
- Customer Base: 30-40 customer interactions monthly (door-to-door campaigns, referrals).
- Team Interactions: Collaborates with credit, legal, and operations teams for smooth loan processing.
