Job summary

Wego Consultants is seeking a Sales Manager who will lead a team of 8–15 sales executives to source and close unsecured business loans (5–50 lakh tickets) for SMEs, retailers and professionals. The role drives monthly disbursement targets, team productivity and channel partnerships, while ensuring RBI-compliant underwriting.

You will manage DSA networks, field visits and bank referrals, structure loans, monitor ERP/CRM dashboards, and report monthly P&L with leadership.

Qualifications

• Graduate in commerce with lending/NBFC operations certification preferred.
• Experience in unsecured SME lending sales with a track record of high disbursals.
• Proficient in MS Excel and CRM tools; fluent in Malayalam and English.

Role Summary

The Sales Manager leads a team of 8-15 sales executives sourcing and closing unsecured business loans (5-50 lakh tickets) for SMEs, retailers, and professionals. This role drives monthly disbursement targets, team productivity, and channel partnerships while ensuring RBI-compliant underwriting.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Targets: Recruit/train sales executives; achieve 10-20 Cr monthly disbursals. Set individual targets (20-30 leads/day/executive, 15% conversion). Conduct daily huddles and weekly reviews.
• Sales Pipeline Management: Source leads via DSA networks, field visits, bank referrals, and digital campaigns. Qualify SMEs (turnover 1-10 Cr, 1-3 yr vintage). Achieve 25% YoY portfolio growth.
• Deal Structuring: Assess creditworthiness using CIBIL, bank statements, ITRs. Structure loans (12-36 months, 16-24% IRR) with minimal collateral. Negotiate terms, overcome objections.
• DSA/Channel Partnerships: Onboard/manage 50+ DSAs; run incentive schemes (1-2% commission). Activate bank tie-ups for lead flow (e.g., current account holders).
• Compliance & Collections: Ensure 100% KYC/RBI adherence, PAR 3%. Early warning on NPAs; coordinate with collections for overdue accounts (30 DPD).
• Reporting: Maintain CRM dashboards (leads, conversion, ROI). Monthly P&L reviews with leadership.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Graduate (B.Com/MBA Finance preferred); basic certification in lending/NBFC operations.
• Experience: 4-7 years in unsecured SME lending sales (Bajaj Finserv, Lendingkart, Capital Float). Track record of 50 Cr+ annual disbursals.
• Skills: Advanced Excel, CRM tools. Malayalam + English fluency. Strong negotiation, relationship management.
