Job summary

Ather Energy in Hyderabad is seeking a Regional Vehicle Service Manager to oversee service delivery, flagship workshops, and territory management. The role governs operations, warehouse coordination, and premises oversight to ensure superior customer experiences.

You will lead regional teams, drive city KPIs, manage aftersales workflows, and collaborate with Retail, Customer Service, Marketing, and Quality teams to optimize service value and costs.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Business or Engineering from a Tier I / Tier II institute.
• 12-15 years of experience managing service delivery operations, overseeing teams of 20+ members or managing 4+ workshops.
• Advanced proficiency in mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills for vehicle troubleshooting.
• Expert service operation management capability to drive daily aftersales workflows and city KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise service delivery, daily service operations, and demand generation while overseeing manpower hiring and training in the territory.
• Lead and mentor regional teams and flagship workshop staff to ensure end-to-end operational execution and superior customer experiences.
• Drive city-specific service KPIs and ensure overall business targets and projected volume plans are achieved.
• Oversee payment collections from customers and deliver scooters with high satisfaction levels.
• Monitor city warehouse operations, including inventory management and seamless coordination with the central warehouse.
• Manage administrative duties for Ather premises within the city.
• Maintain operational cost controls across COGS, manufacturing, working capital, and development budgets while scaling operations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Retail, Customer Service, Marketing, Customer Quality, and Service Inventory teams.

About the Team and the Role:

The Vehicle service team at Ather is responsible for managing service delivery, service

operations, and demand generation across regions, ensuring a seamless and superior customer

experience through flagship workshops and dedicated territory management.

This role is for a key senior resource in the territory supervising service operations, team

execution, workshop performance, warehouse inventory, and premises management to ensure

high customer satisfaction and achieve projected volume plans.

Good to have Competencies:

• Functional understanding of Electric Vehicle (EV) technology and platform architecture.
• Aftersales operations strategy and multi-workshop management capability.
• Continuous improvement mindset for scaling operations and improving service value

delivery.

• Structured inventory and warehouse management coordination skills.
