TIRUMALA MILK PRODUCTS PRIVATE LIMITED in Kolkata seeks a Regional Logistics professional to manage end-to-end logistics, warehouse optimization, and cross-functional coordination. The role requires 8–10 years in logistics, an Any Graduate degree, and readiness to operate from Kolkata.

Responsibilities include finished goods handling, FIFO compliance, fleet supervision, and timely dispatch of liquids, with a focus on cost efficiency and process improvements across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Preferably FMCG/FMCD background.
• Dairy industry experience is an added advantage.
• Education: Any Graduate.
• Experience: 8-10 years.

• Currently based out of Kolkata.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all logistics-related activities at regional level.
• Develop an optimized warehouse management system.
• Coordinate with production, supply chain, warehouse and distribution teams.
• Manage finished goods, stock reports, damages and expiries.
• Ensure FIFO, reconciliation between production and warehouse transfers.
• Liaise with industrial, logistics and commercial teams for end-to-end product movement.
• Monitor plant turnaround time for milk tankers and primary vehicles.
• Ensure fleet regulatory compliance and driver compliance.
• Coordinate with commercial and production teams for timely indenting and dispatch of liquids.
• Track tanker locations and use GPS alerts to reduce plant and overall TAT.
• Follow up vehicles for supply plans and export container stuffing.

Job description

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Will be responsible for overall logistics related activities in Regional Level.
• Will be responsible for working out an optimized warehouse management system.
• Responsible for Liasoning with cross functional teams production, Supply chain, warehouse/ distribution center.
• Responsible for finished goods management (Warehouse & Stock management) including daily stock report, damages , expiries etc.
• Responsible for FIFO, Reconciliation between industrial and shipping on finished goods transfer from production to warehouse shift wise.
• Liasoning with local Industrial, Logistics & Commercial Team for establishing end to end hassle free product Movement.
• Monitoring the TAT [Turn Around time] inside plant for Milk Tankers, Primary Vehicles.
• Monitoring of fleet Statutory compliances, Driver compliances etc.
• Ensure coordination between commercial team and production team for on time indent for liquid and on time dispatch of primary vehicles for liquid.
• Ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of truck load factor and documentation.
• Track the location of the tankers and primary and use of GPS pre-alert system to intimate plant for reduction in Plant TAT and over all TAT.
• Follow up vehicles for products as per supply plan as communicated from planner and flows manager and for export container stuffing and sealing.
• Ensure all the freight reports and stock reports reported as target dates.

Profile:

• 1) Preferably from Fmcg / Fmcd background required.
• 2) Experience in Dairy Industry is an added advantage.
• 3) Education Qualification: Any Graduate.
• 4) Years of Experience: 8 10 yrs.
• 5) Work Location: Kolkata
• 6) Currently must be based out of Kolkata.

Organization:

• Will report functionally to Supply Chain Head administratively to CEO.
