IDFC FIRST Bank Limited is seeking a Regional Head - Rural Branch Banking to drive growth of the Rural business loans network across branches. The role requires strategic leadership, P&L mindset, and the ability to scale distribution, customer onboarding, and service quality.

You will build teams, design channel strategies, partner with digital marketplaces, ensure compliance, and coordinate with product and collections to optimize portfolio quality.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in Business Banking and allied sectors.
• At least 6 years in a Team Lead role.
• Experience in rural banking is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Grow the AUM base for Rural business solutions and ensure revenue, cost, profitability, and portfolio targets are met.
• Lead and direct State Heads with strategic plans for distribution expansion.
• Collaborate with Product Head - Rural Business loans for funding/multifunding solutions and align incentives.
• Design channel mix strategy and build relationships with digital marketplaces and alliances.
• Create a compelling customer journey to make IDFC FIRST Bank the partner of choice.
• Oversee onboarding, training, enablement, and integration of alliance channels to improve TAT and productivity.
• Ensure adherence to internal compliance and regulatory frameworks.
• Collaborate with Collections to reduce net credit loss and delinquency.
• Enhance customer journey and partner experience to differentiate from competitors.

Job Requirements

Role/ Job Title: Regional Head - Rural Branch Banking

Function/ Department: Retail Banking

Job Purpose:

The role entails managing and scaling up the Rural Business loans network for the assigned branches by creating strategies to achieve growth targets for the branches by managing operations and resources in the most cost efficient and technology effective manner. It is accountable to ensure expansion of branch footprint, product penetration and delivery of high-quality customer service. The role will closely collaborate with the product and operations teams to drive effective customer acquisition, servicing, and deepening. It includes building up teams, systems, process, and culture relevant to the branch network scale.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Grow the AUM base for Rural business solutions and ensure that the overall revenue, cost, profitability, and portfolio quality targets are met.
• Lead and direct the State Heads by providing strategic input and plans for distribution penetration in current markets as well as future geographic expansion.
• Collaborate with the Product Head - Rural Business loans to ensure that the customers are offered the best-in-class solutions funding/multifunding requirements and key DSTs are appropriately incentivized.
• Design channel mix strategy and develop constructive relationships with Digital marketplace partners and key alliances.
• Design a fulfilling customer journey leading to customer delight and making IDFC First their banking partner of choice.
• Oversee distribution channel success through quality onboarding, Training process, enablement, integration of alliance channels, improved TAT, focused intervention on low productivity locations etc.
• Ensure the successful adoption of internal compliances & regulatory framework across the business.
• Collaborate with the Head of Collections to drive down the net credit loss and delinquency metrics.
• Manage and improve the customer journey and partner experience to differentiate the bank from competition.
• Collaborate with other departments and functions to provide best-in-class products and service offerings to the customer.

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Mentor and coach senior team members to percolate ethos of customer centricity, innovation, compliance, and integrity.
• Create environment for team to focus on automation and digital enablement to fulfil customer’s needs holistically.
• Attract & retain best-in class talent to meet Bank's rapid growth target.

Education Qualification:

Graduation: Any

Post-graduation: MBA

Professional Qualification/Certification: Chartered Accountant (CA)

Experience:

12+ years Business Banking and Allied Sector with at least 6 years years in Team Lead capacity
