The Regional Business Manager (RBM) will be responsible for managing and driving the sales activities of pharmaceutical products in the assigned region. This includes overseeing the performance of the sales team, ensuring effective customer engagement, implementing marketing strategies, and meeting regional sales goals. The RBM will play a key role in promoting the companys product portfolio to healthcare professionals, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering strong business relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Leadership
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of medical representatives and sales professionals.
- Set clear sales targets and performance metrics for the team.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the sales team to ensure goals are being achieved.
- Drive sales strategies to expand market share and ensure brand presence in the region.
- Customer & Market Engagement
- Establish and maintain relationships with key healthcare professionals, including doctors, pharmacists, and hospital administrators.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with key accounts and stakeholders.
- Ensure regular interactions with KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders) to strengthen product positioning.
- Coordinate product presentations, seminars, and conferences to promote the product portfolio.
- Marketing & Strategy
- Collaborate with the marketing department to execute regional marketing strategies and promotional campaigns.
- Implement brand-building initiatives and ensure products are promoted according to company guidelines.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies effectively.
- Provide feedback to the product development and marketing teams regarding market demands and customer feedback.
- Team Development & Training
- Train, mentor, and develop the sales team to ensure high levels of performance and product knowledge.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team.
- Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure all sales activities are compliant with industry regulations and company policies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local and international pharmaceutical regulations.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, including performance analysis and forecasts.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with regulatory standards in all sales activities.
- Budget & Resource Management
- Develop and manage the regional budget to optimize resources and control costs.
- Monitor the efficient use of resources, ensuring ROI on promotional activities.
- Ensure that all promotional materials and resources are aligned with regional sales strategies.
