SecureLayer7 in Pune, India is seeking an entry-level Red Team Operator to join our offensive security team. You will simulate real-world cyberattacks, identify vulnerabilities, and support mitigations under supervision.

The role emphasizes hands-on practice, collaboration with Blue Team, and continuous learning through campus or training challenges. On-site, full-time position with growth into practical red team activities.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Red Teaming concepts and cybersecurity fundamentals required.
• Hands-on experience through CTF challenges, TryHackMe, Hack The Box or college-level hacking events.
• Awareness of Active Directory, Windows internals, privilege escalation, and lateral movement techniques.
• Familiarity with tools like BloodHound, Nmap, or Metasploit is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Document findings and support mitigation efforts in collaboration with the Blue Team.
• Stay up to date with emerging attack techniques and mitigation strategies.
• Use tools like Burp Suite, Nmap, BloodHound, SharpHound, etc., during simulated attacks.
• Perform basic lateral movement and post-exploitation activities under supervision.
• Assist in testing Active Directory environments and identify privilege escalation paths.
• Conduct reconnaissance, vulnerability identification, exploitation, and reporting.
• Participate in internal and external Red Team exercises to simulate real-world cyberattacks.
