Job summary

Accenture in India in Mumbai seeks a Record to Report Ops Analyst to support Finance Operations. You will collect operational data, perform analyses, and reconcile transactions to determine financial outcomes.

Qualifications

• BCom or Chartered Accountant with 3–5 years of reconciliations.
• Knowledge of general ledger reconciliations and journal entries.
• Experience in R2R processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Align with Finance Ops to collect data, analyze, and reconcile transactions.
• General ledger reconciliation to summarize sub-ledger accounts.
• Reconciliation accounts provide summaries; no direct postings.
• Primary skill: Account Reconciliations.
• Secondary skill: Accounting Journal Entries.
• Perform analysis and solve low-complexity problems.
• Interact with peers and update supervisors.
• May have limited client exposure.
• Receive moderate instruction; new tasks with details.
• Decisions affect own and team output.
• Individual contributor within a focused team.
• Rotational shifts may be required.

What would you do?

• You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions.
• A type of general ledger account which contains a summary of sub-ledger accounts.
• Because the reconciliation account only provides a summary, no transactions are directly posted to the account. What are we looking for?
