Job summary

Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a software engineer with 3+ years of software development experience. The role requires strong C/C++ programming skills and deep Linux shell scripting, with proficiency in the RDK framework (CCSP/HAL) and Wi-Fi technologies (802.11a/b/g/n, 802.11ax, 802.11be).

Experience in Multi-AP EasyMesh and networking protocols is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a background in Linux network programming and familiarity with Qualcomm SDKs.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
• PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

General Summary

• 3+ years of software development experience
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming and well-versed in Linux shell scripting
• Strong development experience in RDK framework with CCSP/HAL
• Strong understanding of Wireless Technology: Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n, 802.11ax, 802.11be, Knowledge of Security Requirements: WPA2, 802.11i, 802.1X, WPA3, Enterprise.
• Experience in Multi-AP EasyMesh technologies, Airties, plume, is a plus.
• Strong background in networking protocols including TCP, UDP, VLAN, NAT, firewall.
• Solid understanding of network programming on Linux platforms.
• Experience with Qualcomm SDK is a plus.
