Job summary

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a Graduate in Civil Engineering to lead planning, scheduling, and control of large-scale construction projects in Assam. You will develop schedules, WBS, resource plans, and progress measurement systems to drive on-time delivery.

The role requires Primavera P6 or MS Project proficiency, cost control experience, contract administration, and coordination with site teams to meet contractual requirements and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering with experience in project planning and execution.
• Experience in contract management and cost control activities.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 or MS Project and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, monitor, and control construction activities to meet timelines and budgets.
• Develop WBS, resource plans, cash flow forecasts, and progress measurement systems.
• Manage contract administration including review of conditions, variances, and claims.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, procurement, commercial, and site teams.
• Prepare cost forecasts, analyze variances, and support cost control initiatives.
• Generate weekly/monthly progress reports, dashboards, EV analysis, and management presentations.
• Identify risks and propose mitigation to maintain performance. Ensure accurate invoicing support and reporting.

Job Description

Responsible for planning, scheduling, monitoring, and controlling construction activities to ensure project completion within approved timelines, budgets, quality standards, and contractual requirements. Develop and maintain project schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), resource plans, cash flow forecasts, and progress measurement systems using project management tools.Manage contract administration activities including review of contract conditions, compliance monitoring, variation orders, claims, extensions of time (EOT), subcontractor performance, and contractual correspondence. Coordinate with project, engineering, procurement, commercial, and site teams to ensure alignment of project objectives.Monitor project costs, prepare budget forecasts, track commitments and expenditures, analyze cost variances, and support cost control initiatives. Generate weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, earned value analysis, productivity assessments, and management presentations. Identify project risks, delays, and constraints, and recommend mitigation measures to maintain project performance.Ensure accurate progress measurement, invoicing support, documentation control, and timely reporting to management and clients. Requires a Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with experience in project planning, scheduling, contracts management, cost control, project monitoring, Primavera P6/MS Project, and construction project execution.
