Selection Process

Consists of two primary stages:

1. Online Written Test – primary screening with 120 questions over 90 minutes.
2. Language Proficiency Test (LPT) – qualifying test in the local language of the state applied for.

Details of the Written Test:

• Reasoning: 30 questions, 30 marks, 90 Minutes.
• General English: 30 questions, 30 marks, composite time.
• General Awareness: 30 questions, 30 marks.
• Numerical Ability: 30 questions, 30 marks.

*Negative marking: 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. The test is available in Hindi and English (except General English).

• Reasoning: Syllogism, Coding‑Decoding, Blood Relations, Puzzles, Seating Arrangement, Direction Sense, Number Series, Analogy.
• General English: Reading Comprehension, Cloze Test, Fill in the Blanks, Error Spotting, Sentence Improvement, Para Jumbles, Synonyms & Antonyms.
• General Awareness: Current Affairs, Static GK, Banking & Financial Awareness, RBI Functions, History, Geography, Sports News.
• Numerical Ability: Simplification & Approximation, Number Series, Data Interpretation, Profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Work, Averages.
