Job summary

Monster Energy APAC is seeking a Raw Material Planner to own the end-to-end flow of raw materials, driving timely planning and purchase orders to keep operations running smoothly.

The role supports sales growth, maintains optimal inventory in SAP, and collaborates with suppliers and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and availability for new product launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or similar field.
• 5+ years of experience in inventory management, planning or supply chain.
• 5+ years of experience in demand forecasting and machine capacity.
• Advanced user in Microsoft Office.
• ERP software experience (SAP Hana preferred).
• Awareness of RMPM planning for new product launches is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own the flow of raw materials and drive timely planning to support sales growth and keep operations running.
• Generate purchase orders, maintain optimal inventory levels and monitor supply performance from order placement through fulfillment.
• Ensure supply plans are executed on time, in full, and at the quantities needed across functions.
• Maintain SAP purchase orders and reflect accurate planning parameters; review regularly for optimum inventory.
• Coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to prevent stock-outs and expedite PO deliveries when needed.
• Support new product launches through supply of new raw materials and coordinate with NPD for item codes and BOMs.
• Monitor supplier performance via delivery and order fulfilment metrics; conduct formalsupply reviews as required.
• Handle imports, shipments and customs clearances as part of material provisioning.

A Day in the Life:

As a Raw Material Planner, you own the flow of raw materials that powers the business. Drive timely and effective planning to support sales growth and keep operations running at full throttle. Leverage planning and execution systems to generate purchase orders, maintain optimal inventory levels, and proactively monitor supply performance from order placement through fulfillment. Partner across functions to ensure supply plans are executed on time, in full, and at the quantities needed to fuel demand and keep the business ahead of the curve.

The Impact You'll Make:

• Prepare and issue purchase orders according to company purchasing policies and procedures. Confirm purchase orders with vendors including delivery date, quantity, unit of measure etc.
• Build good work relationship with suppliers and other cross functional team members. Track and expedite purchase orders by working with suppliers, carriers, etc.
• Maintain purchase orders within SAP to ensure the current details are shown and supports operational plans.
• Demand reviews with commercial teams, Supply Plan review with stakeholders, prior to submissions to SAP system.
• Ensure accurate planning parameters are reflected in SAP and regularly review to achieve optimum materials inventory holding within the network; Proactively identify slow moving and obsolete raw material risks, report and follow up by closely working with other functional teams.
• Regularly check for potential stock-outs due to purchasing delivery delay. Take immediate action to ensure material availability by expediting PO for earlier delivery when necessary.
• Closely work with the product development teams to support new products implementation through the supply of new raw materials.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance around delivery performance and order fulfilment. Issue purchase forecasts to vendors and support Raw Material Supply Manager in holding formalsupply reviews with main vendors.
• Coordinate raw material quality issues with all stakeholders to ensure appropriate corrective actions are initiated.
• Active involvement and coordination with the NPD team for new item code creation, BOM verification, and related activities.
• Handles imports shipment and customs clearances.

Who You Are:

• Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of --Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or similar field of study.
• More than 5 years of experience in inventory management, planning or supply chain.
• More than 5 years of experience in demand forecasting and machine capacity.
• Advance user in Microsoft Office.
• Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software Experience (SAP Hana is preferred).
• Awareness of RMPM planning for new product launches is advantageous.
