Job summary

Alstom in Hyderabad, IN, seeks a full-time RAMS Engineer to ensure reliability, availability, maintainability and safety of mobility projects. You will work with Engineering Design, Validation, Central RAMS, and other teams to address feedback and comply with RAMS processes.

You will perform RAMS analyses, produce deliverables, and contribute to assessing RAMS performance to drive improvements. Strong English documentation and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Electro-mechanical, or a related Engineering discipline.
• 8 years experience and understanding of RAMS analysis and demonstration methods.
• Knowledge of rolling-stock engineering and validation processes (training will be provided).
• Familiarity with technical documentation in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform RAMS analyses as per applicable instructions, processes, and customer requirements.
• Deliver RAMS analyses compliant with project QCD commitments.
• Address customer or independent party comments to achieve approval on RAMS deliverables.
• Assess product RAMS performance and identify necessary requirements to meet targets.
• Apply RAMS processes and instructions to all activities.
• Report progress and raise alerts in case of challenges.
• Adopt a product-oriented mindset to enhance study results and foster product performance improvements.

You''ll play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety (RAMS) of our projects, contributing to the delivery of industry-leading mobility solutions. Day-to-day, youll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering Design, Validation, Central Engineering RAMS, and more), address customer and independent party feedback, and ensure compliance with Alstoms RAMS processes and instructions.

Youll specifically take care of performing RAMS analyses and producing related deliverables, but also contribute to the assessment of product RAMS performance and identify improvement opportunities.
