Job summary

Bansal Hospital in India is seeking a Radiologist to interpret imaging studies, perform and supervise ultrasound and other imaging procedures, and provide timely radiology reports.

The role requires reviewing CT, MRI and X-Ray studies, communicating urgent findings to the treating doctor, and ensuring NABH-compliant safety and documentation throughout all radiology activities. The incumbent will participate in audits and guide support staff.

Qualifications

  • Interpret and report diagnostic imaging studies accurately and promptly.
  • Perform and supervise Ultrasound and other applicable imaging procedures.
  • Review CT, MRI, X-Ray and other imaging studies as per qualification and hospital facilities.
  • Provide clear, clinically relevant and timely radiology reports.
  • Communicate urgent/critical findings promptly to the concerned treating doctor.
  • Participate in clinical discussions and provide appropriate radiological advice.
  • Maintain proper documentation and confidentiality of patient information.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, SOPs and NABH standards.
  • Follow radiation safety protocols and applicable statutory requirements.
  • Ensure appropriate patient identification and verification before procedures.
  • Maintain quality and safety standards in the Radiology Department.
  • Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement activities and hospital committees when required.
  • Guide and supervise radiology technicians and other supporting staff.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of radiology equipment.
  • Report equipment malfunction or safety concerns to the concerned department.
  • Participate in emergency/after-hours radiology services as per duty roster.
  • Maintain professional ethics and patient confidentiality at all times.
