Job summary

Greengrapes Corp seeks a Radiologist in Jamshedpur on a contract basis. Required MBBS with MD/DNB in Radiology and 2+ years post MD experience. Responsibilities include evaluating histories, preparing reports, and guiding imaging procedures with CT/MRI equipment.

The role involves interpreting imaging results, communicating with physicians, and ensuring adherence to medical protocols. Ultrasound-guided biopsy capability is a plus.

Qualifications

• MBBS with MD in Radiology/DNB in Radiology as required.
• 2+ years post MD/DNB/DMRD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' histories to ensure imaging procedures are safe.
• Suggest alternative imaging techniques when needed.
• Inform patients about the imaging process.
• Operate CT, MRI and other imaging devices.
• Prepare MRI/CT/Ultrasound/Mammography reports.
• Direct radiology staff for image-guided procedures.
• Coordinate with radiology lab to optimize image quality.
• Interpret results to aid diagnoses and discuss with physicians.
• Document written reports of findings.
• Follow resuscitation and infection control protocols when needed.
• Ultrasound-guided biopsy is advantageous.

JOB LOCATION: Jamshedpur

Job Description

• Evaluating patients' medical histories to ensure the various medical imaging procedures will not harm them.
• Suggest alternative medical imaging techniques, when necessary.
• Informing patients about the medical imaging process.
• Using devices such as computer tomography (CT) scanners and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machines.
• Ability to prepare MRI, CT Scan, Ultrasound, Mammography, and other reports.
• Performing or directing radiology staff to carry out image-guided, diagnostic procedures.
• Working with radiology lab technicians to perfect image quality.
• Interpreting the results from diagnostic imaging procedures to determine diagnoses.
• Communicating and discussing results and diagnoses with physicians.
• Compiling written reports of results and diagnoses.
• Following medical protocols for resuscitation, bleeding, infection, or other emergency situations, when necessary.
• The ability to do an ultrasound-guided biopsy is an added advantage.
