Job summary

ERM in Delhi is seeking an experienced R2R Analyst to perform end-to-end accounting processes, including month-end close, GL management, reconciliations, and reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

You will support audits, drive process improvements, and collaborate with global teams on intercompany activities and asset accounting. Strong Excel and ERP experience are essential, with 6–8 years in R2R/GL roles.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in R2R/GL accounting roles.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP.
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP system experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute month-end close and reporting processes.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, provisions, and adjustments.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support intercompany activities, billings, settlements and confirmations.
• Assist in fixed assets accounting, depreciation runs, and asset register maintenance.
• Identify gaps and propose automation or standardization improvements.
• Participate in transitions, migrations, and system enhancement projects.

Role Purpose

The R2R (Record to Report) Analyst is responsible for executing end-to-end accounting processes including month-end close, general ledger management, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance activities. The role ensures accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial statements while supporting audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Month-End Close & Reporting
• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, provisions, and adjustments.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports.
• Analyze financial results and variances vs. budget/forecast.
• General Ledger (GL) Accounting
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Review and validate entries for accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Support chart of accounts maintenance and mapping activities.
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Perform reconciliations for bank, intercompany, accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and other key accounts.
• Investigate discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain documentation as per audit and policy requirements.
• Intercompany Activities
• Process intercompany billings, settlements, and confirmations.
• Resolve mismatches and discrepancies working with global teams.
• Fixed Assets Accounting (if applicable)
• Maintain asset register and execute capitalization/disposals.
• Process depreciation runs and reconciles fixed asset schedules.
• Process Improvement
• Identify gaps and propose automation or standardization opportunities.
• Participate in transitions, migrations, and system enhancement projects

Experience & Capabilities

• Typically, 6-8 years of experience in R2R/GL accounting roles.
• Knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP).
• Experience with ERP systems
