Qualifications

• Engineering degree in relevant technology fields (e.g., Software Systems, Power Systems, Power Electronics) with HVAC/HVDC/FACTS knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong in decision making, people-oriented, and capable of owning scope and delivering on time in a dynamic environment.
• Prior experience in R&D and people management is preferable.
• Sound understanding of R&D activities and power system business/projects.
• Mastery of spoken and written English; strong team player with cross-functional collaboration.

Hitachi Energy India Development Centre (IDC) is a research and development facility with around 500 R&D engineers, specialists, and experts, who focus on creating and sustaining digital solutions, new products and technology. This includes product integration, testing, cybersecurity, and certification. The India Development Centre is situated in Chennai and Bangalore. Your background:

• You hold at least Engineering Degree preferably in relevant technology field e.g. Software Systems, Power Systems, Power Electronics and having knowledge in HVAC / HVDC / FACTS technology is an advantage
• As a person you have a passion for people and technology, you are strong in decision making and have the right inner drive to take on full responsibility for your scope and deliver on time in a dynamic environment.
• Prior experience in R&D, people management are preferable.
• Sound understanding of R&D activities and so in power system business/project.
• Since we work in an international environment you need to master spoken and written English.
