Bank of America Corporation is seeking a Quality Engineer in Hyderabad. The role focuses on testing software to meet functional requirements, with both manual and automated test execution using Selenium and QTP. Strong SQL/Oracle skills and QC experience are required.

You will work with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, financial-services environment, contributing to end-to-end QA lifecycle and delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in test planning, design and execution across multi-application environments.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and QA processes, including defect management.
• Experience in automation and manual testing, with SQL/Oracle queries.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and global delivery models.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder interaction skills.

Employee Experience Technology team is looking for a Quality Engineer , and the individual would be responsible for testing and delivering software to accomplish business outcomes. Key responsibilities of the role includes ensuring that software is tested to meet all functional requirements, defining manual tests, and executing both manual and automated test suites.

Responsibilities*

• Knowledge on SDLC
• Should have a strong Knowledge on Automations Tools both QTP and Selenium
• Experiencing in managing teams and end to end deliverables
• Complete end to end Knowledge on Quality Assurance Life Cycle
• Experience on Testing, QA process, Defect Life Cycle, Reporting & Metrics
• Expertise on the SQL, Oracle
• Proficiency in Quality Center (QC)
• Understanding requirements, test cases conversion, test execution, Metrics and Reporting
• Ability to estimate the Testing effort and working across multiple applications
• Effectiveness in Defect Life Cycle management. Record, report, coordinate and bring the Defect to closure.
• Interaction and coordination with Stakeholders, Business Analysts, Development teams & other teams like Infrastructure and Production Support
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
• A good team player
• Exposure to Financial Domain and Capital Markets Asset Classes

B.E./ B Tech / M.E./M Tech

M.C.A [with B.Sc., B Com, BBM]

M.Sc. (Computer Science, IT, S/W, Mathematics, Electronics, Physics, Statistics)

Experience Range*

• 6 - 8 years of experience in Software Testing.

Foundational skills*

• Strong in Functional testing, Database testing and Accessibility Testing
• Strong in Automation testing like TOSCA
• Strong in Oracle database ( familiar in writing queries, functions, Stored procedures etc., )
• Experience or exposure in Agile methodology
