Job Description-Quality Executive (ChemistBlending)
Profile of Candidate
- Age: 25 to 35 years
- Academic Qualifications: Mandatory: B.Sc. (Chemistry), M.Sc. (Chemistry), or Alcohol Technology.
Professional Experience
- Mandatory: Minimum 2 to 6 years of experience in QC operations and blending work
Reporting
Manager QC.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Inspection of Packing Materials
- Daily inspection of all incoming Raw materials as per the SOP and ensuring they meet the required standard.
- Maintain inspection reports for all Raw material in the prescribed format (e.g., ROPP cap, Guala cap, glass bottles, pet bottles, glue & sticker labels, canisters, outer cartons, capsules, plates, partitions, corks, etc.).
- TERTA PAK LINIMATES & STRIP inward quality reports along with the valid COA.
2. Liquid Quality
- Daily inspection of all incoming raw materials as per the SOP and ensure they meet the standard.
- Maintain Process validation records for raw materials such as FG, Caramel, DMW, RW, Blends, ENA, etc.
- Perform daily sensory evaluation of DM water and blends, and prepare day-to-day blends as per the production requirement.
- Coordination with ENA Procurement team for ENA necessary requirements.
- Maintain ENA tank/Blending Tank dip records as per the SOP and should match Excise ENA records as and when required.
3. Online Quality Checking
- Decision taking capability on in-house quality procedures, standards, and specifications as per control quality and production standards.
- Perform detailed inspections of final products and confirm they meet the required standards.
- Work with all staff and co‑ordinate inter‑department for implementing new procedures, standards, and systems related to quality improvements.
- Monitor all Quality operations which are related quality and supervise & guide technicians, and other staff.
- Prepare route cause analysis for the non‑quality standard output with detail report.
- Assess customer requirements and ensure 100% quality production.
- Collect and analyze quality data to facilitate proactive solutions.
- Regularly review all the Quality SOPs and changes if any updates on time to time basis.
- Maintain proper record of all technical reports for FSSAI audit purpose; always maintain records of quality reports, statistical reviews, and relevant documentation.
4. Other Responsibilities
- Prepare progress reports for upper management on a weekly, fortnightly, and monthly basis.
- Run trials to test the suitability and performance of packaging materials under various conditions.
- Identify substandard materials, conduct joint inspections with suppliers, and prepare joint inspection reports.
- Track and calibrate laboratory instruments and keep necessary certificates for the Audit Requirements.
