The candidate will collaborate with Production, Design and Engineering teams, manage PPAP submissions, and drive corrective actions to meet stringent automotive standards. Willingness to travel to supplier locations is a plus.

Qualifications

• B.E or Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile/Production Engineering.
• 1–3 years in automotive industry.
• Hands-on experience with NPD quality activities preferred.

Responsabilités

• Handle quality activities related to New Product Development (NPD).
• Prepare and maintain APQP documentation and project quality plans.
• Manage PPAP documentation and coordinate customer submissions.
• Prepare, review and update PFMEA.
• Ensure quality requirements are met during product development and launch.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Production, Design, Engineering).
• Monitor product quality during trials, validation and pre-production stages.
• Identify quality issues and implement corrective/preventive actions.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Quality Engineer New Product Development (NPD) with 1–3 years of experience in the automotive industry. The candidate should have good knowledge of quality tools and processes, particularly APQP, PPAP and PFMEA, to ensure product quality during new product development and launch.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle quality activities related to New Product Development (NPD).
• Prepare and maintain APQP documentation and project quality plans.
• Manage PPAP documentation and coordinate customer submissions.
• Prepare, review and update PFMEA.
• Ensure quality requirements are met during product development and launch.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Design and Engineering.
• Monitor product quality during trials, validation and pre-production stages.
• Identify potential quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain quality records and ensure compliance with automotive quality standards.
• Support customer audits and address quality-related concerns.

Eligibility Criteria
