Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive QA for motors and gear boxes. You will oversee in-process, final and customer quality, analyze complaints, and coordinate with international customers on quality issues.

Prepare quality plans and define inspection parameters to ensure robust manufacturing processes. Ideal candidates have 5–6 years of experience in manufacturing QA, strong knowledge of FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D, and the ability to train staff on quality systems.

Qualifications

• BE in Mechanical/Production with approx. 5-6 years of experience.
• Experience in quality assurance of motors and gear boxes in a manufacturing setup.
• Experience with in-process, final and customer quality control processes.
• Exposure to international customers on quality issues.
• Knowledge of quality systems and inspection methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for in-process, final and customer quality of manufactured parts.
• Analyze customer complaints and corrective action reports.
• Interact with international customers on quality issues.
• Prepare Quality plans and decide on inspection parameters.
• Drive quality improvement using 7QC tools and SPC.
• Lead process audits and train engineers on Quality Systems.
• Understand drawings and formulate inspection methodologies.
• Apply FMEA, MSA, 8D methods and Six Sigma for problem solving.
• Implement error-proofing techniques (Poka-yoke).
