Job summary

Aliaxis seeks a quality assurance professional to develop and maintain procedures that improve product quality and process efficiency. You will oversee audits, ensure conformance to ISO standards, and apply testing methods to detect defects.

The role requires experience with quality systems, data-driven problem solving, and the ability to mentor colleagues in quality practices. It is based at our Jigani, Karnataka site in India.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14000).
• Experience conducting quality audits and product/process reviews.
• Ability to identify issues from data and implement improvements.

Job description

Develops policies, procedures and methods to evaluate and improve the quality of products, materials, components and/or operations. Develops, assures and maintains the quality of products and processes, including standard procedures (e.g., ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14000 family of standards) and product certification, quality audits/review, Taguchi methods, process reengineering, etc.. Inspects products/processes to ensure conformance with pre-set standards. Check for irregularities and defects using testing equipment.

Has full proficiency gained through job-related training and considerable work experience. Completes work with a limited degree of supervision. Likely to act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience. Identifies key issues and patterns from partial/conflicting data. Takes a broad perspective to problems and spots new, less obvious solutions
