Job summary

Sanofi Goa site seeks a Quality Control Biochemist / Chemistry Testing L1-1 to perform sampling, analysis, and documentation in a GMP laboratory. You will operate instruments including HPLC, GC, UV and spectrophotometers, ensure GLP/HSE compliance, and support in calibration and method validation.

Ideal candidates hold MSc Chemistry with around 3 years of relevant QC experience, strong analytical skills, and fluency in English. The role is based on-site at Verna, India.

Qualifications

• MSc in Chemistry is essential for the role.
• Experience in raw material and finished product testing.
• Solid understanding of HPLC and instrumental analysis.
• Good documentation and regulatory compliance skills.

Responsibilities

• Sampling of Raw Material, intermediate and finished products as per SOPs.
• Analyze materials and ensure timely test results with regulatory adherence.
• Maintain and review analytical records and documentation.
• Support in HSE, calibration, and validation activities in QC laboratory.
• Carry out instrumental analyses (HPLC, GC, UV, spectrophotometry) as required.

Sampling & Analysis

• Sampling of Raw Material, intermediate and as per the relevant SOP’s
• Ensuring proper storage as per Storage conditions for Raw Material, intermediate, stability samples and Finish Product as per the relevant SOP’s
• Handling and confirming external testing of Raw material samples.
• Management of samples in sample cabinet as per Storage conditions for Raw Material, intermediate, stability samples and Finish Product as per the relevant SOP’s
• Analysis of Raw Materials, stability samples, finished goods as per the required specifications on time.
• Ensure cGLP in the laboratory activities.
• Carry out instrumental analysis of stability samples, Raw materials, Finished Goods such as HPLC, GC, Dissolution, potentiometer, IR spectrophotometer, Raman Analyzer, Dissolution tester, Disintegration tester, Viscometer, Tap density apparatus, Microscope, UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, Conductivity meter, pH Meter, Sieve shaker, Melting point etc.
• Ensuring audit readiness in Quality control laboratory.

Documentation

• Prepare and maintain raw data and analytical records in compliance with the current regulatory requirements.
• Maintain the raw data as per regulatory requirements.
• Scanning and Proper Storage of Raw Material ATR in documentation store.
• Filling and documentation of ILI/Deviations at site.
• Review of logbooks, Calibration records, Qualification documents etc.
• Review and revise the specifications and test procedures based on the pharmacopeia.
• Raising deviations and implementation of CAPAs through Qualipso
• Carry out result recording, Review of data, printing of ATRs, Sampling instruction transactions in SAP ATHENA
• Perform qualification of new instruments.
• To support in Simplification and digitalization of activities in Quality control laboratory.
• To support in OOS/OOT and deviations related to Quality control.
• Qualification/Calibration/Validation
• Carry out the calibrations and preventive maintenance of instruments as per SOP and maintain records.
• Perform qualification of instruments
• Carry out the validation of analytical methods as per the testing procedure
• Supporting in chromatographic trouble shooting

*HSE

• Adherence to all health safety & environmental aspects as required by company policies and procedures.
• Ensure that the implementation of HSE systems, safe working conditions and maintain a culture of continuous improvement.
• Conducting daily training in the +QDCI meeting address any unsafe condition.
• Take suggestion from associates to improve the work conditions with great safety and zero risk.
• Periodic review of the implemented procedures and evaluation of the same.
• Train people on safety and their job to ensure zero LTI and IWLT at workplace.
• Carry out activities related to HSE applicable to the laboratories at side
• Support the team to comply with requirements of ISO 14001 standards with respect to laboratories.
• Ensure HSE compliance in the laboratory at all times

About you

• Experience: 3 Years
• Technical skills: Raw material testing, Finished product testing, handling of instruments,basic knowledge of HPLC.
• Qualification: MSc Chemistry
• Languages: English, Hindi, Marathi
