Job summary

You will develop and execute test cases, perform functional, regression, integration and system testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate software functionality. The role requires 7–12 years of experience, a Masters or Bachelor’s degree in CS/related fields, and strong knowledge of testing tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in multiple complete software release cycles
• Understanding of Agile/iterative software development methodologies and Testing in Agile
• Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to work effectively in a geographically dispersed team

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute manual and/or automated test cases for software applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Collaborate with developers, services, and stakeholders to understand requirements and validate application functionality.
• Perform defect tracking and reporting using tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or Bugzilla.
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
• Maintain test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and execution logs.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure software stability and reliability.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in testing and recommend process improvements.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives to provide testability and product quality feedback.
• Document test plans, test cases and contribute to technical documentation and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent analysis skills with tenacious attention to detail.

Designation - Technical Lead Engineer - Testing

Experience (in years) - 7-12 years

Education - Masters/Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information science, Physics, Math or any other related discipline.
