Job summary

ADCI - Karnataka in Bengaluru is seeking a QA Engineer to bolster our testing efforts, including manual testing and automation contributions. The role focuses on understanding features, reproducing defects, and delivering high-quality test coverage across APIs and mobile interfaces.

The ideal candidate has experience in black‑box testing, writing test cases, and collaborating with developers to improve product quality. Familiarity with Selenium/SOAPUI is a plus in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of non-internship professional software development testing experience.
• Experience scripting for automation (e.g., Python, Perl, Ruby).
• Experience in API & Mobile testing
• Experience with UI and API automation testing (Selenium/SOAPUI)

Responsibilities

• Black Box testing
• Write test cases for the new feature, modifying and maintaining the existing test cases.
• Understand and ramp up on QA procedures, guidelines and policies for newly launched feature and apply them
• Use software tools for QA, fix up and data capture on a daily basis
• Be proactive in identify issues, deep dive, troubleshoot, communicate to stake holders and escalation of issue and providing status reports
• Be part of a highly charged work environment

Position Overview -

• Manual testing where applicable

Debugging, troubleshoot and maintain automation scripts by fixing the stability issues.

• Writing test cases (not test plans) that are high quality, high value and maintainable.
• Able to reproduce product defects & script failures to assist developers or other testers and identify, track, and accurately report defects found.
• You create automation scripts for low complexity test cases based on feasibility analysis done by the QA / DEV teams.
• You acquire knowledge of the features and detailed functional requirements of the work to execute your assigned tests, and find gaps in the test plan/test coverage.
• Good knowledge in language, vocabulary & grammar & contextual information
• Ability to deep dive on applications & comparing features between various versions & identifying changes made within versions
