Job summary

Dassault Systèmes, in Pune, is seeking a QA engineer to ensure the quality of CATIA developments from requirements to certification. You will work with developers across agile and waterfall SDLC, designing and executing tests, and building test automation suites for CATIA apps.

The role requires 3–5 years in industry, strong English communication, and familiarity with CAD tools like CATIA/SolidWorks/Creo/Revit. Willingness to learn scripting for automation is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level engineering degree in mechanical/production/automobile/civil fields.
• 3–5 years industrial experience in core industry.
• Strong attention to detail and quick learning ability.
• Good written and verbal English skills.
• Familiarity with CAD tools like CATIA/SolidWorks/Creo/Revit is preferred.

Role Description & Responsibilities

• Ensure the quality of the new developments in CATIA - from requirements to quality certification
• Work closely with developers who are implementing the new features thru agile/waterfall based SDLC - in test design & execution phases
• Design and develop test automation suites for CATIA apps
• Should manage tests on major releases with new features, and also earlier releases.

Qualifications

• He/She should have B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech. degree in either of the streams: #Mechanical, #Production, #Automobile, #Civil
• 3 to 5 years of industrial experience in core industry
• Must have – critical thinking, strong attention to details & high learnability
• Good written and verbal English skills
• Knowledge of any CAD software such as CATIA, SolidWorks, SolidEdge, Creo, Revit, Navisworks, Bently, etc. preferred
• Willingness to learn scripting for automation
