I2global Virtual Learning in Bengaluru, India is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to develop and maintain automated tests for web applications using Selenium WebDriver. The role requires API automation, test planning from requirements, and reliable CI integration.

Build and maintain automated test suites in Selenium WebDriver for our web applications.
Write and maintain API automation tests and keep them running in the CI pipeline.
Create test plans and test cases from requirements, and execute functional, regression, smoke and sanity cycles.
Triage failures - separate genuine defects from flaky tests, fix the flakiness, and keep the suite trustworthy.
Log clear, reproducible defects with steps, logs and evidence, and follow them through to closure with the developers.
Report test coverage, pass rates and release readiness to the engineering lead every cycle.
Improve the automation framework - page objects, reusable utilities, test data handling and reporting.
2 to 4 years of hands-on QA experience, with at least 1.5 years spent writing automation rather than only running it.
Strong Selenium WebDriver skills in Java or Python, with a test framework such as TestNG, JUnit or PyTest.
Working knowledge of API testing (Postman, REST Assured or requests) and of SQL for backend verification.
Comfortable with Git and with running suites through a CI tool such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
Able to read a requirement, spot the gaps, and ask the right questions before writing a single test case.
Clear written English - defect reports get read by people who were not in the room.
Graduate in any discipline. This is an in-office role at our Koramangala, Bengaluru campus, Monday to Friday with alternate Saturdays working.
