Job summary

Venus Remedies (VRL) is seeking a capable analyst to perform routine pharmaceutical analysis and method validation in a GMP-compliant laboratory in India. The role requires hands-on experience with HPLC, UV-Vis, FTIR, and GC, along with meticulous data review and documentation. Candidates should possess a B.Sc.

or M.Sc. in Chemistry (or equivalent) and relevant injectable/parenteral industry exposure will be preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in analytical testing and data review is desirable.
• Hands-on experience with instrumental analysis is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine analysis and testing of pharmaceutical products using analytical instruments and SOPs.
• Perform HPLC analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and stability samples as per approved specs.
• Execute Analytical Method Validation (AMV), method verification, and related analytical activities as per regulatory and internal requirements.
• Operate and maintain UV-Visible spectrophotometer, FTIR, GC, and HPLC instruments.
• Perform instrument calibration, system suitability, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance as per SOPs.
• Review analytical data, chromatograms, spectra, calculations, and results for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and maintain analytical records, worksheets, logbooks, and other GMP documentation.
• Handle OOS/OOT investigations, deviations, and laboratory-related investigations as required.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, SOPs, specifications, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with QA, Production, and other relevant departments for timely completion of testing and investigation activities.
• Support method development, method transfer, validation, and other analytical projects when required.

Preferred candidate profile

• Qualification: B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry or equivalent relevant qualification.
• Candidates with hands-on experience in HPLC, AMV, UV, FTIR, and GC will be preferred.
• Mandatory/Preferred: Candidates having relevant Injectables/Parenteral pharmaceutical industry experience will be strongly preferred.
